Religious Education - Youth

Our Current Youth Religious Education Programs

The YRUU Group [13 - 18 year olds] Grades 8-12

The youth are encouraged to follow a program balanced between discussion, worship, leadership, social gatherings, and social action initiatives, and they will have an active role in the decision making of their program throughout the year. We hope to arrange some social get-togethers with YRUUs from other congregations and as well as plan a retreat for the YRUU group this year. Youth advisors help the group to plan their calendar and facilitate activities.

Our youth are invited to assist the younger children in their classes or with group activities on occasion. Qualified youth also participate as child care givers in the summer and for congregational meetings or special events.
