At a special congregational meeting on April 18,2010, members of the UFL voted unanimously to call Myron Andes as our next settled minister.

Myron’s Ministerial Record contains three short passages that sum up his promise for us:

“I am seeking a settled ministry position in a Congregation that will partner with me in creative, transformative ministry to the needs and opportunities of its community. I would like that community to be a place where I can put down roots and make a home.”

“…any situation can be dealt with, as long as there is good will, good leadership, and right relations.”

“Expanding the visibility, ministry and influence of a Congregation in the wider community is something I look forward to exploring….”

Myron Andes will begin his ministry here on August 1, 2010. We extend a warm welcome to Myron and his partner, Shelley!
